Cinder v1.0.50

A reliability and privacy update for Script Assist, iPhone call capture, transcripts, onboarding, and account security.

Highlights

Transcribe iPhone calls on your Mac

Added guided setup for capturing Calls from iPhone, tailored to the macOS version running on your Mac.

Export transcripts as PDF

Added PDF export to the post-call transcript tab for easier sharing and archiving.

More durable onboarding

Onboarding completion now syncs to your account so reinstalling the app does not make you repeat setup.

Fixes

Restored Script Assist preparation

Aligned Script Assist preparation with the server prompt-context contract and made failures provide a useful diagnostic.

More reliable app updates

Hardened the macOS release workflow so a skipped signed build cannot be reported as a successful release.

Stronger privacy and credential boundaries

Tightened sensitive URL, log, file-access, and transcription credential handling across the desktop app and server.

Clearer consent and privacy settings

Updated consent and settings language to accurately describe how Cinder handles data.

More reliable account and service behavior

Improved verified signup, account deletion, website resilience, accessibility, and service readiness checks.

Known issues

No known issues have been published for this release.

This release includes the reliability and privacy improvements prepared for v1.0.49, plus a fix to the signed macOS delivery path and clearer Script Assist failure recovery.

In Cinder, open Settings → Account and find Version to check for an update. An available update waits until an active call ends before Cinder asks to restart.
