By downloading or using Cinder, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Cinder is a macOS desktop application that provides real-time call transcription, AI-powered coaching, and post-call analysis. Transcription on the Free plan runs locally using Whisper on your device and does not require an internet connection. Starter and Pro plans use Deepgram cloud transcription and require an active internet connection. AI coaching and post-call analysis also require an active internet connection.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to use Cinder. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Cinder offers a free tier with no credit card required. Paid plans (Starter, Pro) are billed monthly. On-demand analyses are subject to monthly usage allowances that vary by plan (see Pricing for current limits). Real-time coaching (Coaching Add-On) is metered by the minute, capped at 2,400 minutes per month. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Cinder complies with all applicable laws, including any laws regarding call recording and consent in your jurisdiction. Many jurisdictions require all-party consent to record calls. Cinder provides the tools; you are responsible for using them legally.
AI coaching suggestions are generated by third-party language models and are provided as guidance only. Cinder does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any coaching suggestion. You are responsible for your own words and decisions during calls. Do not rely on AI coaching for legal, financial, or medical advice.
Cinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any lost deals, missed opportunities, or damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI coaching suggestions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
