Billing and plans

Cinder has an ongoing Free plan and monthly Starter and Pro subscriptions. Plan selection and subscription management happen inside the Mac app.

Billing starts in the app

Download Cinder, then choose a plan in Settings → Billing. The website does not complete paid checkout.

Starter trial

Start with a 14-day Starter trial. No credit card required. After the trial, continue on Free unless you choose a paid plan.

The default trial unlocks Starter features. It does not require a payment method and does not automatically become a paid subscription. To continue on Starter or move to Pro, choose a paid plan from Cinder before or after the trial ends.

View or change your plan

  1. Open Cinder and choose Settings.
  2. Open the Account tab.
  3. Find Billing to review your current plan, status, allowances, and available plan changes.

Upgrades and downgrades can have different effective dates. Cinder shows the timing before you confirm a plan change. The current plan descriptions and limits are on the Pricing page.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Billing.
  2. Choose Cancel.
  3. Review the confirmation and choose Cancel subscription.

What happens after cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid-plan access until then. Cinder shows the scheduled end date in Billing after the cancellation is confirmed.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law requires a refund. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support with the account email and charge date. Do not send full payment-card details.
