Cinder v1.0.53

A transcription reliability hotfix that keeps your microphone audible without duplicating the other side of the call.

Highlights

Reliable microphone transcription

Quiet speech, startup delays, audio-route changes, and temporary system-audio gaps no longer cause Cinder to discard microphone audio.

Cleaner two-sided conversations

Echo cancellation now preserves genuine double-talk and short acknowledgements while preventing speaker playback from becoming a duplicate transcript.

Fixes

Lossless transcription fallback

Cinder retains a short, private in-memory audio window so it can move safely to on-device transcription when cloud audio conditioning becomes unhealthy.

Safer cloud transcription rollout

Cloud transcription now requires the speech-preserving audio conditioner and falls back locally when that capability is unavailable.

Known issues

No known issues have been published for this release.

This hotfix restores the microphone-preservation contract affected by v1.0.52. Audio-health diagnostics remain aggregate-only and do not store call audio or transcript text.

In Cinder, open Settings → Account and find Version to check for an update. An available update waits until an active call ends before Cinder asks to restart.
