Release notes
Cinder v1.0.61
A transcription reliability update that keeps live transcript text on screen, restores the cloud fallback for paid plans, and stops transient audio glitches from ending calls.
Fixes
Live transcript text stays on screen
Fixed a bug where lines could appear in the live transcript and then vanish as they were refined. Every finalized line now lands, stays visible, and is kept in the saved call.
Cloud fallback restored for paid plans
Paid calls can again fall back to cloud transcription when the on-device engine is unavailable, including on the macOS 26.3 build where Apple Speech is disabled for stability.
Steadier calls through audio glitches
One-off audio conversion errors and brief capture stalls no longer end a call, and echo cancellation now recovers instead of switching off for the rest of the call.
Known issues
No known issues have been published for this release.
This release repairs the local transcription path that v1.0.60 routed macOS 26.3 machines onto: transcript lines are no longer retracted while they are being refined, genuine speech is no longer discarded as suspected echo, and capture watchdogs tolerate transient glitches instead of ending the call. Cinder's privacy boundary is unchanged — raw audio never reaches the renderer and no transcript content is added to diagnostics.
